Our commitment
to the couple does not finish with the ceremony but continues for
years afterwards. All images are stored in several ways; on computers,
an external hard-drive and DVDs to ensure that if a couple ever
damages or loses their copies of the photographs we should be able
to supply them again.
Immediately
after the wedding day we will go through the photographs and remove
excess pictures. It is difficult to take one group photo where everyone
has their eyes open and are looking the same way so we usually take
lots of photographs of each group. This means that we either have
one good version or in extreme cases we can create a good picture
by combining parts of several different photographs. As there are
often duplicates we will pick the best of the batch and thin out
the rest. Eventually we will create a disc of images. What happens
from this point on will depend on the married couple.
We will happily
supply a disc of all of the photos, but we can also work with the
couple to create another disc that only includes a selection of
the best pictures. This disc can be used to show the best pictures
to friends and family in the same way that you would use a traditional
printed album. We will spend time enhancing images to adjust lighting
and contrast levels where necessary.
We can use the
images to create quality prints, or they can be taken to a high-street
printer. Wedding albums can be very expensive, and if the couple
would rather create their own they are free to do so. We can create
albums or photobooks by meeting with the couple and deciding which
pictures to include, and the layout they want.
Another option
is to print a set of thank-you cards using an image from the wedding
day and printing it on high-resolution greeting cards. This is a
great way to thank the wedding guests, and give them a memento from
the day.
