Wedding planning starts months before the actual ceremony, and with so many options and alternatives there is a lot to arrange and consider.

A number of photographs are shown on our website, taken from several different weddings. These are only a few examples so we would always recommend meeting a client so that we can go in to greater detail. We can either arrange to meet you at your own home, or you can come to see us. We can show you high-resolution sample images on computer and in print, and discuss your personal requirements. You don't have to feel under any obligation at this stage as we understand that it is an important decision to make and that you shouldn't rush in to anything.

If you decide to use us as your wedding photographer we can meet or talk again to determine exactly what you require and make more detailed arrangements. We are there for your day, and we will work around your requirements. Some brides like to have photos of their preparations, including having their hair and make-up done, whereas others do not. Some couples want pictures from through the evening, and some just want their first dance. All of these things can be decided prior to the wedding. If you have any questions or wish to clarify anything we are only an email or a phone call away.

Where possible we like to attend your wedding rehearsal. This is an excellent opportunity to familiarise ourselves with the venue, and meet other members of the wedding party so that everyone feels more relaxed on the wedding day. It is always useful to meet the vicar or registrar so that we can determine what we can and cannot do. Some venues do not allow the use of flash photography or may not allow pictures during the ceremony and we feel that it is important to learn any restrictions before your big day.

If you are not having a wedding rehearsal we are still happy to visit the venue with you prior to the service.

It is becoming increasingly popular to have photographs taken in more unusual places, and in Cornwall it is easy to have pictures taken on or near a beach. By visiting the area where the wedding will take place it is possible to look for nearby locations that can be used to make your pictures stand out and incorporate your interests.
